Brian Jones

Instructor / Main Company

Brian launched his TV/film career after college in Los Angeles. Recruited by the Jim Henson Company, he performed with The Muppets on ABC and in Muppets Most Wanted. With a 20-year residency in LA, he excelled in improv, teaching workshops for corporate clients and directing/producing improvised plays with Impro Theatre and ComedySportz LA.  Notable film credits include the Coen brothers’ Hail Caesar!, and TV appearances range from the I Love Lucy episode of Will and Grace to a special agent on NCIS.  He’s done voice work for Star vs. the Forces of Evil and currently voices Terry in Terry Benson Across Dimensions. His TV roles include General Hospital, American Housewife, Black-ish, Angie Tribeca, NCIS, Grey’s Anatomy, Community a boat load of commercials.  Brian’s favorite TV role was playing “Chad” on two seasons of Disney XD’s Gamer’s Guide to Pretty Much Everything.   Look up the short film “Frank and Emmet”—you’ll love it!

Chris Guerra

Co-Founder / Instructor / Main Company

Chris Guerra is an alumni of The Groundlings Main Company—the legendary Los Angeles comedy theater that launched the careers of Will Ferrell, Phil Hartman, and Will Forte—where he was also one of the artistic directors. There, he wrote and performed original sketch comedy, helping shape the creative voice of the institution.

He’s appeared on Modern Family, starred in national commercial campaigns, and performed on Broadway in Company with Neil Patrick Harris. He also toured the country in the 1st Broadway National Tour of Sister Act, with additional regional credits including Spamalot, Avenue Q, Frozen: Live at the Hyperion, and many more.

Now based in Franklin, Tennessee, he co-founded Oddity Improv, a clean comedy theater and training center. He co-wrote and directed the award-winning improvised feature film Re-Opening through his production company, thisishardtoread productions. He is also the creator of the viral series Facebook Marketplace Nightmares, which has drawn nearly 800,000 followers and won a 2025 Telly Award for Best Comedy Series.

Ben Francisco

Instructor / Main Company

Ben Francisco is a proud member of the main company of Oddity Improv. In addition to his performances on stage with Oddity, his work spans commercials, short films, and background roles in an Amazon series. While he thrives onstage and in front of the camera, his greatest joy comes from spending time with his wife and four children. For Ben, every day is an adventure—one that acting and the arts make even more exciting.

Mark Dunn

Instructor / Main Company

Mark has been performing for more than three decades across the Midwest and East Coast. After spending over 16 years in New York City, the Dunn family now calls the Franklin area home—where their seasonal allergies have truly found a place to thrive!

Mark loves performing with Oddity, teaching improv, and taking every opportunity to bring memorable characters and stories to life. He can be seen in multiple comedy shorts with Sunnyside T.V. on YouTube, and two feature films and a TV featuring Mark are expected to be released in 2026.

Mark is incredibly grateful for the unwavering support of his beautiful wife, Bridget, and their amazing son, George. Enjoy the show—we’re so glad you’re here!

Kelsey Cooke

Co-Founder / Instructor / Main Company

Kelsey grew up acting professionally in Hollywood, signing with her first agent at the age of 7. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Arts from Vanguard University, and pursued a Broadway, TV and Film career in New York upon graduating, working on shows like PAN AM (ABC) and ROYAL PAINS (USA). Her work eventually brought her back to Hollywood where she trained in improv at The Groundlings, UCB and Second City. Kelsey appeared in LIFE PARTNERS (Tribeca & Sundance Film Festival), BLACK NOVEMBER (Vivica Fox), BAD TEACHER (CBS) and THE VERONICA MARS MOVIE. In 2020 she Co-Founded “thisishardtoread” productions and is an award-winning producer, writer, and actor on the award-winning feature comedy/mockumentary film, RE-OPENING and is the co-founder of Oddity Improv in Tennessee, the premier theater and school for learning character-based improv and sketch.
